The Home-Grown Economic Reform Agenda
This document presents a homegrown economic reform agenda for Ethiopia, which aims to sustain the remarkable growth and poverty reduction of the past decade, while addressing the macroeconomic imbalances and structural constraints that threaten its sustainability. The reform agenda consists of three pillars: macro-financial reforms to ensure stability and availability of finance, structural reforms to ease business constraints and improve efficiency, and sectoral reforms to enhance productivity and unleash new growth potentials. The document outlines the rationale, objectives, and measures of each pillar, as well as the implementation arrangements and expected outcomes.
