Dr. Tsedeke Abate is the founder and lead of the Homegrwon Vision, an independent think-tank on African agriculture. He is a seasoned leader and researcher with extensive experience at various levels, including leading on projects like the Drought Tolerant Maize for Africa and CIMMYT’s Maize Seed Systems.
Dr. Tsedeke also served as the Director General of the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research, implementing transformative changes.
